Diego Sanz

I am a physical education teacher on weekdays and a mountain guide at weekends and during the summer holidays. I grew up in Cercedilla, at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama, and moved to Madrid for university like everyone else from my village. Most visitors have no idea that an hour from Puerta del Sol there are pine forests, granite peaks above 2,000 metres and snow from December to April. It started as my own running route. I speak Spanish and English and hold a first aid certificate that I renew every two years. These days I guide Madrid live on video: I walk the streets with my phone and answer your questions as we go.
