Eilidh Sinclair

The Meadows is where most of my own walking happens outside of work, so I know its paths and its moods in every season. Duddingston is the quietest place I guide in the whole city, a village and a loch sitting right beneath Arthur's Seat as if the rest of Edinburgh wasn't there. On camera I try to let a place breathe a little, holding a shot of the water rather than narrating over every second of it. I've been guiding for five years and video has taught me that silence works on a call the same way it does on foot.
