I grew up inside the citadel walls, a few doors from the Clock Tower, and I still think it is the best place to start any session, since its museum floors explain how tightly this small hilltop town organised its defence for centuries. On camera I like climbing the Covered Stairway afterwards, the wooden-roofed steps built so schoolchildren could reach the church on the hill without the winter weather stopping them. I keep a warm, unhurried pace and enjoy questions about daily life inside a citadel this size. Video suits Sighișoara particularly well, since the whole old town is small enough for a single session to cover properly.
