Emilio Vargas Cano

I worked for years as a groundskeeper near the old bullring, which is probably why I know the building's architecture better than I know the sport it was built for. On camera I stay outside, explaining the Neoclassical facade and its place in bullfighting history without taking a position on the tradition itself. I also spend time near the Arab baths by the river, one of the best-preserved examples in Spain, and I like explaining how the vaulted ceilings once let steam escape through star-shaped holes.
