I am from Mostar and I watched the Old Bridge being rebuilt from the same stone quarry as the original, which took years and a lot of patience. I used to dive from it as a teenager. I do not any more, but I will introduce you to the divers of the Mostari club who do. My walk covers the bridge, the Kujundžiluk bazaar, the Koski Mehmed Pasha mosque and the old front line along the Bulevar, where the ruined buildings still stand. Mostar in August is 40 degrees, so I start early. I speak Italian from working at a hotel in Rimini. I keep things simple and I answer straight. Today my sessions are live video walks through Mostar; you join from home, and I answer whatever you ask as we go.
