I have flown paragliders over this valley for years, so Höhematte is the meadow I know best from both the ground and the air. On camera I set up early, before the grass fills with people, and let the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau line up exactly as they do every clear morning. I explain the thermal winds the way I once explained them to student pilots, in plain terms rather than technical ones. I keep sessions unhurried, since the mountains rarely need me to hurry them along. I answer questions about the peaks or the flying, whichever a viewer asks about first.
