About Federica

I worked for eight years as a product designer for a furniture company in Brianza before I retrained as a guide. Milan is a city that hides its best rooms behind heavy doors, and that is what I like to open. My tours focus on art and design: the Pinacoteca di Brera, the Last Supper at Santa Maria delle Grazie, and a walk through the showrooms and courtyards of Brera and Porta Nuova. I explain why Milan became the capital of Italian design after the war, what the Compasso d'Oro is, and who Gio Ponti was, with stops at buildings he actually designed. I speak French because I studied at the Ecole Boulle in Paris. I do not do shopping tours, although I will happily tell you where to find a good second-hand Magistretti lamp. My sessions now run live on video from Milan: I carry the phone, you watch from wherever you are and ask anything.

How reviews work

Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
