Felix Baumann

I studied history at the same university where the White Rose resistance group distributed its leaflets against the Nazi regime, and I still find that entrance hall the most affecting place in the whole city. On camera I hold on the marble atrium and the small memorial set into the pavement outside, explaining what happened there in 1943 without turning it into spectacle. My other two sessions move to the Residenz courtyards and the Feldherrnhalle, tracing how the same streets carried very different histories across two centuries. I keep my pace slow and deliberate throughout, since this kind of history asks for care rather than speed.
