I studied film at university and worked briefly at the National Cinema Museum before I started guiding, so the Mole Antonelliana is the building I know best from the inside as well as the outside. On camera I explain how a structure built as a synagogue in the 19th century ended up housing a museum of film instead. Inside, I ride the panoramic lift partway up, pointing out props and posters from Italian cinema history along the spiral walkway. I keep my pace steady, since the building's own story is as unusual as the collection inside it. I answer questions about either the architecture or the films throughout.
