Freja Holm

Hej! I am a furniture designer. I studied at the Royal Danish Academy and worked for five years in a small studio in Christianshavn, making chairs that very few people could afford, including me. I started guiding because friends visiting Copenhagen always asked me which design shops were worth it and which were just expensive, and I found I loved answering. I show the city through its chairs, lamps and buildings, from Arne Jacobsen to the young studios in Nørrebro. I also love Nørrebro itself, the most mixed part of the city, where I lived for eight years before moving to Christianshavn. I speak Danish, English and Swedish, the last because my mother is from Malmö. I am friendly and relaxed, and I like people who touch things, when the shop allows it. These days I guide Copenhagen live on video: I walk the streets with my phone and answer your questions as we go.
