I studied ecology before training as a guide, and Ashton Court's deer herd is the kind of detail I could talk about for far too long if nobody stopped me. On camera I try to stay quiet when the deer are close, since the moment usually speaks for itself better than I can. I grew up walking Brandon Hill with my grandmother most weekends, so the tower at the top still feels like a childhood landmark rather than a monument. I keep sessions relaxed and always leave room for questions about the wildlife.
