About this tour
This session walks the grounds of Ashton Court, a historic deer park on the edge of Bristol that still holds a resident herd of deer. You see the old chestnut avenue, the grazing herd and the mansion's mixed architecture. I explain how the estate came to open to the public.
We start with a sound check on the entrance avenue, then move through the park in stages, stopping longer near the deer if they are close enough to film well. Questions come up naturally, and I send a short note on the estate's history afterwards.
It suits nature lovers and anyone who wants a green, open-air session away from the city streets. It also works well for families interested in wildlife.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
