Gatis Vītols

I worked for years at the concert hall in Dzintari before I started filming the town instead of just working inside one building in it. That job means I can explain how the pine forest around the hall has shaped the whole resort, from the walkways to the quiet that still settles over Dzintari once the music stops. My camera tends to move slowly through the trees before reaching any building, since the forest is as much a part of Jūrmala as the villas are. I keep sessions unhurried and always leave the last stretch open for whatever people want to ask.
