Giulia Moretti

I have walked the Canal Grande most days of my life, past the statue of James Joyce, who lived in Trieste for over a decade and wrote much of his early work here. My other session covers Caffè San Marco, a literary café open since 1914 where Joyce and other writers of his circle used to meet. I like connecting the canal and the café as two halves of the same literary Trieste. I keep a warm, curious pace and enjoy questions about the writers who worked here.
