I trained briefly as a cook before guiding, and what actually comes out of this lake is still what interests me most about Ohrid. On camera I follow what the lake's own trout ends up on a plate, from the restaurants along the water to the stalls in the old bazaar. I also offer a short planning call for anyone deciding whether to start in the bazaar or down at the waterfront, since the right order depends on the time of day and how much walking someone wants to do first. I keep my food session detailed and my planning calls practical and to the point.
