Gráinne Byrne

I trained as a botanist and worked at the National Botanic Gardens before moving into guiding, so Glasnevin's collection and the birdlife along Dublin Bay at Sandymount are where my sessions are strongest. On camera I like moving slowly between specimens or along the strand, letting the setting carry the session before I start explaining it. Four years of guiding has taught me to plan sessions around the season and the tide rather than a fixed script. I always answer questions properly as they come.
