Graziella Musumeci

I trained as an art restorer and worked for several years on stonework around the cathedral before I started guiding on camera. I like explaining how the whole building had to be rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake, since almost nothing standing today predates that disaster by very much. On camera I hold on details in the facade that most visitors miss, then move next door to the Badia church, whose dome is one of the few in the old town open to a close view. I keep my pace slow and specific, since the stonework rewards patience.
