Ine Verstraete

I studied museum design before I started guiding, so the STAM building and the Design Museum are territory I know from the inside as well as the outside. My sessions look at how Ghent has turned old buildings, a former abbey, a grand house, into spaces for showing its own history and design. I like a slower pace that leaves room to actually look at a facade or a courtyard rather than rushing past it. I am warm and happy to follow whatever detail catches your attention as we go.
