Ines Bergmann

I watched the Frauenkirche's dome go up as a child, since the rebuilding was only finished in 2005 and the site was still scaffolded for most of my childhood in the Altstadt. On camera I like starting early, before the square fills with visitors, so you can actually hear the bells and see the stone without a crowd in frame. I trained originally as a museum guide and I still explain buildings the way I was taught, by what survived and what had to be remade from photographs and rubble. I keep a warm, unhurried pace and I am happy to spend extra time wherever a question leads.
