I trained as a sculptor before I ever thought about guiding, so Vigeland Park is the place in Oslo I understand best. On camera I move slowly between the bronze figures on the bridge and the granite column at the centre, explaining what Gustav Vigeland was working through across the decades he spent on it. I also take viewers up to Ekebergparken, where newer sculptures sit among the trees with the fjord behind them, a quieter contrast to Vigeland's crowds. Guiding by video means I can hold a single figure in frame far longer than anyone walking past it ever would.
