Ingrid Solberg

I grew up in Trondheim and moved to Oslo to study art history, and I worked at the National Gallery and later at the new Munch museum in Bjørvika, where I led school groups and ran the Saturday tours for families. Oslo has changed a lot in the last fifteen years, from a quiet port to a city of museums on the water, and I like to explain what that change means for the people who live here. In summer I take the island ferries almost every weekend, because the fjord is where Oslo people go to breathe. I speak Norwegian, English and German. I keep my tours clear and not too long. Today my sessions are live video walks through Oslo; you join from home, and I answer whatever you ask as we go.
