I studied ceramics before I started guiding, so Avanos and its pottery workshops are where I feel most useful on camera. I like showing the wheel actually turning and explaining how the red clay from the river here has shaped the town's whole identity. I also guide sessions down into Derinkuyu, the underground city, where the scale only really makes sense once you see the tunnels connecting from the entrance level downward. I try to keep my tone warm and curious, since I still find new details in both places myself.
