I worked mornings at the market by the train station for years before I started filming Tallinn more widely, so I still know most of the stallholders by name. My sessions move stall by stall through the market before heading toward the square with the flag tower, since both places show a different side of how the city marks its own history. On camera I like asking simple questions about a product or a building rather than reciting dates. I leave real time at the end for whatever people want to ask.
