I have researched the 1944 Uprising for years, and my sessions usually centre on the museum built around it, along with a few streets nearby that still carry visible scars from the fighting. I try to explain the events plainly rather than dramatically, connecting specific buildings to what actually happened on them. I also point out where reconstruction stopped short and left a bullet-marked wall standing deliberately. Guiding this material on video works better than I expected, since I can hold the camera steady on a single detail for as long as the explanation needs.
