James Whitfield

I am partway through a masters in museum studies and I spend enough time at the British Museum already that guiding around it barely feels like extra work. My sessions cover the forecourt and the Great Court's glass roof, since that is where a phone camera can actually do the architecture justice without disturbing anyone inside. I like explaining how a free national museum like this one is funded and run, a question I get asked more often than anything about the objects themselves. I am still building my confidence on camera, but the subject itself carries most sessions without much help from me.
