I ran a stall at the Stockbridge market for two years before I started guiding, so I know most of the traders by name and what's good on any given Sunday. The Cowgate's underground history is what people ask me about most, and I run a planning call for anyone who wants the real story before they visit the vaults themselves. On camera I try to be honest about what I can and can't show, since so much of that history sits below street level where a live call can't follow. Guiding on video has taught me to be a better researcher generally.
