I studied history at Masaryk University here and have spent years explaining Špilberk Castle to anyone who will listen, since most visitors only know Brno as a stop on the way to Vienna. My sessions cover the fortress itself and the cathedral bells that still ring an hour early to mark a centuries-old trick played on a besieging army. I like slowing down on the story behind a single detail rather than rushing through dates. I keep a steady, informative pace and take questions properly rather than saving them for the end.
