I like the quieter green spaces of Amsterdam more than the postcard canals, particularly the parks east of the centre that most visitors never reach. My sessions move slowly and I keep talking to a minimum in the parks themselves, since I think the point is to actually see them rather than hear about them constantly. I studied landscape architecture and can talk in more detail than most people want about how a park was originally laid out. I try to keep that instinct in check and only share what is genuinely interesting.
