I have worked behind the bar in Kazimierz for years, so I know which courtyards and cellar bars are worth an evening rather than just the busiest spots on the main square. My sessions usually move between a couple of these venues, explaining how the district's bar scene grew out of its prewar Jewish heritage buildings rather than purpose-built venues. I keep the pace relaxed and let the evening set its own rhythm on camera. Video works well for this material, since the atmosphere of a courtyard bar reads better live than in any photograph.
