I have guided in Antalya for ten years, most of that time around Kaleiçi and the old Roman gates, and I still notice new details in the stonework every season. On camera I like to stand where the light catches the carved lettering on Hadrian's Gate, since that single line explains why the gate exists at all. I also travel out to Aspendos for longer sessions, since the theatre there changes the story completely once you see the scale of it. I speak German as well as English, and I try to explain Antalya's Roman layers plainly and without rushing.
