I run a small design studio in Karaköy, so guiding is something I fit around actual client work rather than the other way round. I know which galleries changed hands last year and which have been there since before the neighbourhood became fashionable again. On camera I like walking İstiklal Street at an angle most visitors never take, ending at the Çiçek Pasajı rather than starting there, so the contrast with the modern galleries lands properly. I answer questions about the design scene as someone actually working inside it rather than observing from outside.
