Kristin Solberg

I studied art history with a focus on Edvard Munch, so the new Munch Museum on the waterfront is where most of my sessions begin, filmed from outside since the galleries themselves stay off camera. I explain what is on display that week and why the building's tall, leaning form suits an artist who spent his life reworking the same handful of images. On a separate call I talk through the National Museum's collection in the same way, without ever going inside. I find video guiding pushes me to describe paintings clearly enough that someone who cannot see them still understands what matters in each one.
