Kristjan Mägi

I trained as a guide inside Toompea before I ever picked up a phone to film it, so I still explain buildings by what happened inside them rather than only their facades. My sessions usually climb the hill first, since the contrast between the parliament and the cathedral says more about Estonian history than either building alone. On camera I like lingering at the old walls and towers, because the brickwork changes century by century if you look closely enough. I keep a steady pace and always save proper time at the end for questions about the hill or the walls.
