Lukas Vogt

I grew up in the shadow of the castle, close enough that its broken tower was the first thing I ever drew as a child. Studying history in Heidelberg only confirmed what I had guessed for years, that the ruin says more about the town than any single date could. On camera I hold on that broken wall for a moment before moving on, so you can see exactly where an eighteenth-century explosion cut through the sandstone. I plan each session one wing of the castle at a time and keep the pace slow, since the details reward patience more than speed.
