Manon Girard

I trained as an art historian before switching to guiding, and I still choose my routes around a handful of buildings rather than trying to cover the whole city in one go. The Jacobins convent is the stop I look forward to most, since the vaulted ceiling never quite looks the same twice depending on the light that morning. On a call I like to slow right down at a single detail, a carved capital or a courtyard door, rather than rushing between sights. Most of my viewers end up asking about the market stalls as much as the architecture, and I am happy either way.
