About Marija
I trained as an art conservator before guiding, and the iconostasis in one of Skopje's older churches is still what I most enjoy explaining. On camera I pair that carved woodwork with a restored Ottoman bathhouse now used as a gallery, since both buildings survived by changing their purpose entirely. My other session moves to more recent history, a small museum connected to the city's most famous native and the main square nearby. I keep both sessions detailed, and I am happy to spend extra time on a single carved panel if someone is curious about it.
