Marijke Vos

I grew up above a shop on the Markt, so the square between the two churches has been my view for most of my life, and I still notice something different in it depending on the light. My sessions there move between the Nieuwe Kerk's tower and the Oude Kerk's leaning one, and I explain why one church leans and the other does not, which usually surprises people. On a video call I try to give the square time to just be itself for a minute before I start explaining, since the sound of the market alone tells part of the story.
