Marino Benussi

My family has spoken Italian and Croatian at home for generations, the way most old Rovinj families still do, so the town's bilingual signs have never struck me as unusual. On camera I climb toward St Euphemia's bell tower and explain why it was built to resemble Venice's own Campanile so closely. I also spend time on Grisia street, where painters have set up easels since long before I was born, and I still recognise a few of the older ones by name. I keep my calls at a steady pace and answer history questions in as much depth as anyone wants.
