I have worked around Kotor's harbour my whole life, first helping on my father's boat and now guiding instead. On camera I like starting at a quieter gate on the town's southern side, away from where most visitors enter, then moving past a small Orthodox church to the morning market where the day's produce is still being set out. My other session follows what actually comes off the boats each morning, from the terraces along the harbour to the fish stalls at first light. I know most of the fishermen personally, so I can usually explain exactly what is being sold and where it was caught.
