Golf brought me back to St Andrews after a few years away, and now I spend most of my sessions along the Old Course explaining why this particular strip of ground matters so much to the sport. I worked at the museum before training as a guide, so I have a lot of stories that never made it onto the official plaques. On camera I like showing the course from the public path along West Sands rather than just talking about it, since seeing the layout properly explains more than any description could.
