Noailles is the market I grew up shopping in with my mother, so I know which stalls have been there for decades and which ones changed hands last year. I also run planning calls for people about to walk the market or Le Panier alone, since a little local knowledge saves a lot of wasted time. On camera I like pointing out small, specific things, a spice I recognise by smell, a mural that changed since last month, rather than giving a general overview. I speak French, English and Arabic, and I answer in whichever language someone starts with.
