Nikiforos Kafouros

I grew up fishing near Akrotiri, close enough to Red Beach that I used to swim there most summers before it became as well known as it is now. On camera I like explaining the geology properly rather than just filming the colour, since most people never learn why the cliffs turned that shade. I also volunteer at Megaron Gyzi some weekends, so I know the mansion's photograph collection well enough to talk through what changed in Fira after the 1956 earthquake. I keep my sessions unhurried and I am glad to answer anything in detail.
