Nuria Sempere

I have lived a short walk from the basilica my whole life, so its bell tower is the sound I measure my days by. On camera I like framing the tower from a few different corners of Santa Cruz, so you see how the quarter grew up around the church rather than beside it. I trained in art history and it shows in how I read a facade, always looking first at proportion and material. At San Nicolás I step well back across the square so the dome fits properly in frame rather than cutting off the top. I keep both sessions short and precise.
