Ola Krupa

I grew up near the Barbican and have always been fascinated by how much of Krakow's medieval defences survive compared to other Polish cities. My sessions usually follow the old city walls from the Barbican through to the Florianska Gate, explaining how the fortifications were built and later partly dismantled to make way for the Planty park. I like a steady pace on camera so you can see the brickwork and any surviving details properly. Video works well for this material, since the walls reward a proper look rather than a quick photograph in passing.
