Onur Kılıç

I grew up in Karataş, a few streets from the old lift everyone here just calls the Asansör, and I remember riding it as a child before I understood why a clifftop street needed one at all. I trained as a guide focusing on Izmir's waterfront, from the old lift down to the Kordon promenade below. On camera I like showing a view from the top of the lift first, then walking down the old stairs beside it so viewers see both routes people actually use. I answer most questions about how the neighbourhood has changed since I was young.
