The seawater pools along the front were built by the same artist responsible for landmarks across Lanzarote, and I like showing how the design still works decades later. I trained as a guide through the local market rather than a classroom, spending years around its stalls before I ever picked up a camera. On a walking call I keep close to the water so viewers can hear it, and on a planning call I stick to a short, practical list rather than a long one. I answer every question before moving on to the next.
