My family has worked around Kilkenny's breweries for two generations, so the story of Smithwick's and the old abbey tower inside its yard is one I know from the inside. I point my camera at details most visitors walk past, the worn stone steps by the river, the way John's Bridge frames the castle, the herons that fish the Nore most mornings. Four years of guiding on video has taught me to pause and let a view sit on screen rather than talk over it. I enjoy the questions people send through as much as the walk itself, and I always answer them properly.
