Père Lachaise holds some of the most striking sculpture in Paris, and I like treating it as an open-air gallery rather than only a cemetery. I trained in art history before guiding, which shapes how I read the monuments as much as the names attached to them. On camera I keep a respectful, formal pace, pausing on specific sculptures rather than rushing between well-known graves. French and English both work for my calls. I answer questions about the cemetery's history and its artistic monuments in as much detail as anyone wants.
