Petra Lange

I grew up in the Dutch Quarter, in one of the gabled houses built for craftsmen invited here in the 1730s, so the neighbourhood still feels like home rather than a stop on a route. I also guide sessions on Alexandrowka, the old Russian colony across town, since I studied Russian and like tracing how two very different foreign communities were folded into the same small city. On camera I move slowly between the houses, since the detail is in the brickwork and the garden fences rather than anything grand. I keep things warm and conversational and I am happy to follow whatever catches your eye.
