I work in one of the offices near the Palace of Culture and Science, so I know the building and the area around it better than most guides who only visit occasionally. My sessions usually start at street level explaining the tower's Soviet-era history, then move to the surrounding Srodmiescie streets to show how modern Warsaw has grown up around a building many people once wanted removed. I keep a fairly direct style and do not dwell too long on any one point. Video works well for this material since the scale of the tower is hard to appreciate without a proper look upward.
